CARE

optimal care. Oiling protects the wood and provides a beautiful surface. Linseed oil is best, alternatively you can also use walnut oil, grapeseed oil or coconut oil. Oil the board, let the oil soak in for about 15 minutes, and then wipe the board with a dry cloth.

Rinse the board under running warm water. Remove coarse dirt with a dish sponge or brush. You can use a mild dish soap. Very important: Dry the board with a cloth and let it dry completely! Never put the board in the dishwasher for cleaning and never let it soak. Only the metal bowls may be placed in the dishwasher.

Fluctuations in humidity (first damp, then dry) can lead to tension in the wood. In this case, the wood may warp slightly or the tension may also lead to cracks in the wood. Therefore, always dry the board thoroughly after cleaning and keep it dry.
