What is Ocean Bound Plastic?
Ocean Bound Plastic is a recycled raw material that can replace new plastic granulate. In countries without municipal waste disposal, our Ocean Bound Plastic is collected in coastal areas (up to 50 km from the sea) before it can enter the oceans as plastic waste. Our material is collected and processed in Asia. The material is then delivered to our factory for final production.
For some of our products with plastic parts, such as the handles of our knives, recycled Ocean Bound Plastic is used instead of new polypropylene.
GRS certified
The factory that produces a large part of our products undergoes an annual GRS audit. This certifies that all regulations of the "Global Recycled Standard" are adhered to in this factory. We at SteakChamp are proud to work with responsible manufacturing partners.
